Viagra Price Watch : Prices Going Through The Roof!!

Authorities in Cairo International Airport had intercepted 1.8 tons (yeah, tons!) of Viagra, while they were being smuggled inside bags of ceramic powder coming from UAE. (Arabic source)
The shipment belongs to Mohammed Abu El-Ainin's (Chairman of the industry committee in parliament, and one of the NDP's most powerful men ) company. He denied any responsibility, and even offered to have his parliamentary immunity revoked to be questioned about the incident.

This, however, didn't stop Egyptians from cracking jokes about the thing. Most would be inappropriate, but let me say that a particular one observed the fact that this huge viagra shipment, came in time with Gamal Mubarak's engagement!

Thats another serious problem, cracking jokes at anything & everything to escape their responsebilities,totally pathetic.
I am actually sick & tired of the neverending flow of banal jokes, what is shocking in this is the amoint caught, a 1.8 tons of tiny pills is...i cant even calculate how many that would be & this is one shipment caught & there must be at last other shipments that slipped in, is everyone taking them or what??? & this is supposedly a country with a high percentage of bachelors where pre marital sex is a sin bigger than sin itself.

Maybe you better change your handle if you don't like the use of humor in Egypt - to "seriousman" or "crankyman".

I have heard a lot of silly jokes about the "bird flu" lately but they are not funny enough to bear retelling here.
